The ZM1042 nixie tube was made by several manufacturers. The different tubes differ only in the internal construction. The main electrical and physical parameters are the same for all of them. The ZM1040 is identical but has a red coating to improve contrast.
This particular tube was made by Tesla of the former Czechoslovakia.
